My alarm on my CL no longer arms. It used to beep after I locked it via transmitter twice. It won't beep anymore, and the side marker lamps don't flash when I lock it. Definitely not the doors, nor is it the trunk. The only thing I can figure is that the alarm thinks that the hood is not latched. Hood is latched down and secure. Anyone have this kind of problem before and know how to fix it?

might want to check the fuse as well...I'm guessing thats what it is.

maybe the horn is out. check by holding the panic button. if so, check fuses. is it a factory alarm? also check side marker fuse. if all is good you can try to reset it by unplugging the battery. if it is after market alarm it might be in valet mode in which case you need to check with the manual to take it off valet.

Horn blows loud as hell.

Turn Signals/Side Markers work perfectly. They just don't flash when I lock the car with the remote(they used to).

They still flash when I unlock the car(like it always has).

In the past when I locked the car, it would beep to tell me that the alarm was armed. I'm not talking about the horn. It was an electronic beep to confirm it was armed. It no longer does this.

I checked both doors and the trunk, but the sensors seem to be working fine. The indicator in the cluster will tell me if i have either door or the trunk open. I tested it out by opening both doors and the trunk while the car was running and it showed that all 3 were open.

The only thing I can figure is that the car thinks that the hood is open, when it is not. There is no indicator on the dash for this so I have no idea how to check it.
