Totally newbie. Have my left front light out. Any recommendeations for a replacement? Do I have to replace both?

Are you talking about the headlights or the "road-lamps" which are underneath the headlights?

Chances are that if your headlight is out, you can just swap in a new light bulb, the high-beams are very easy to change if you have to do that.

 

Which light? If its the HID low beam, swap the bulb from the other side to be sure it isnt the ballast them is dead.

 

what was it was it your ballast or the light bulb? im having an issues with my light fluttering and dont know what it is. i checked it on the passanger side and it doesnt flutter so im guessing its the drivers side ballast. any one know what i can do?
