2001 CL Type S will not start!

Turning over, plenty of juice. Do not here fuel pump prime, nothing but 'silence'.

Checked fuel relay, looked fine, no cracks, soldering in good shape. (Should I replace anyway, possibly internal problem in relay?)
Should I buy scanner/diagnostic tool or go for the fuel pump?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

 

If you are not throwing a code, then a scanner will not pick up anything from my experience...
are you having the same problem as me?

No, not having all that craziness, but car was sitting for a day, then came out to start it, it ran for 1 second then died. Tried to start it again and now, nothing!

 

how many miles? t-belt been done?

 

If you don't hear the fuel pump prime, it's most likely the relay. The Fuel Pump realy won't change in appearance. If it died, it died. I just went through this myself. Swap it and see. If it isn't the realy you can alway return the part!
