I have a strange problem because it goes away and comes back. The D5 light blinks and I don't seen to have a 1st gear. The OBD came out to p1753, could you please help me find the TCM and if it was a fuse problem which fuses I would have to replace. And could this possibly be a problem with the torque converter? If so how can I repair this. Thanks much for your help.

 

P1753 TCM A/T Lockup Solenoid Valve "A" Fault

I searched for a repair and got nothing! Maybe some one with a service manual can shed a little more light on this!

 

I have same problem-This is on 02 acura tl type s.The D light blinks-It goes away and comes back-The code reads P1753 problem in torque converter clutch solenoid circuit-The problem is in the wiring or in the torque converter clutch solenoid valve(on top of transmission)-my was a bad ground-two ground points 1.end of transmission(0n the TL look through the wheel well) 2.Thermostat housing.
