2001 3.2CL - Electronic trunk malfunction!! Help Please

Hey guys, my names mike and I own a 2001 3.2CL that has a trunk that wont open.
The situation:
-No fuse listed for the trunk, but checked all of the fuses and there all good.
-All electronics in car work EXCEPT the trunk button on drivers side door and on the key fab.
-Master swith in glove box is swithed to on posistion
-was told by a service tech that sometimes the master switch comes loose, so i took the glove box off and checked connection. still doesnt work.

Any Suggestions?????

I'm having the same exact problem, I've checked the masterswitch but its on. I toggle it and try but nothing happens. When I use the remote control to try to open the trunk..all I hear is an electrical click.. when I try the manual button on the driver door... nothing happens.. No sound..

how do I "check voltage" b4 and after? This happened after I coming home from my trip and I have bunch of stuff in the trunk! Is there a way to bring the seats down so I can retreive my stuff??? Any workarounds?

I Guess In Your Case Your Latch Is Just Jammed Up Bc U Have Too Much Stuff In The Trunk. You Can Open It Manually. You Have That Little Access Door Behind Armrest Of Rear Passanger, When U Open It , In Top Left Corner Inside Trunk Look For Little Rubber Handle, Thats Manual Relese Handle. Should Solve You Problem
