Wet sanding and polishing after new paint !
Here's a couple pic I took last Friday at the body shop. It's been repainted and they are now wet sanding and polishing the thing. As you can see, the trunk is already completed ... it looks like a friggin mirror
The Cl looks pretty ugly overall right now though ... but I know they'll make it shine. I hope they'll be done on Friday, so I can get the UR pulley and the Thermoblok kit I just got
It's going to look like this on sunny days (hopefully, if they did it right) :

I took it in on May 8th and it should be ready on Friday the 2nd, so it took about 4 weeks start to finish. I had the fender rolled and the headlight/driving lights wet sanded as well. I can't wait to see the final result on a sunny day. Hopefully, the weather will be nice enough to have a little photoshoot this weekend. I'll let you know how it comes out.
Right now I'm like an 8 year old on December 23rd waiting for Christmas ..........

Can't wait to see the finished project.
Tell me it's safe to assume they have already started putting the car back together. I'd hate to think they painted it with all that trim, windows, and bumper covers on it.
Also, how much is this costing you if you don't mind me asking?
