Finally some wax!!
nice man..yeah its been raining for two weeks straight up here in VT and today was the first beautiful day in a long time, so i decided to wash and wax my car. it was the first time ive ever waxed a car, went really well all in all...no swirls or wax left over or anything. i used the mr. clean wash/autodry kit for the washing and then used mother's carnauba wax for the wax.
quick question for the detailing pros here...i wanted to put a second coat on but had to leave to take my girl to her prom (ive graduated), can i wash my car tomorrow and then put another coat of wax? or should i wait a few days before washing my car again? or is too late to add a second coat of wax?

Thanks, my boyfirend is a detailing guy so I had easy access to all his supplies. I washed using two buckets (one for soap, one for rinsing), menzerna auto shampoo, a chenille wash pad, dryed with a waffle weave microfiber towel. Polished with menzerna final polish II using a porter cable random orbital. Then waxed with pinnacle souvaren wax using the porter cable to apply. All buffing was using microfiber towels. It took me about four hours to do the whole car from start to finish. I had to spend some extra time on the roof. The previous owner ( I bought the car from the dealer) must have let water pool up on it because there were all kinds of water spots on there. My next goal is to work on the windows. There is all kinds of etching on them (from previous water statement) and it makes me crazy, I already tryed glass polish and had no luck, I hope I don't have to have all the glass replaced.
