The drop is mild D-boy but at least the 4x4 look is gone. It looks good on CT springs.

thanks. Yeah, it's not a huge drop, but even so, I've already scratched the shit out of my front bumper too many times.

 

Hell... I scratched the shit out of my bumber many times too and mine isnt even dropped. The noses of our cars are just really long.
I'm really gonna have to watch out more after I install springs.

Tein drop with a few bags of clothes in the rear for that added hooptie look. Since then I've raised it up to deal with crappy roads.

hey mantis how do you keep your car so clean especially the front and rear bumper from any rock scratches ?

 

believe me, there are a ton of rock chips there... just aren't close enough.

 

Did you consider using 3M clear tape? It may help?

Nope. I bought mine from a local shop. Yees, they are 7.5".. no tire rubbing.

 

That was one of the best investments that I made for the car. It prevented so many chips during the two cross-country drives.

 

How much is the 3M clear tape ?

 

I think it was around $600 to do the whole bumper, the side-view mirrors, a strip along the door edge, the door handle interior area, and about 1.5' up the hood.

 

$600..I must be really worth it. My front bumper is already chipped. So no point now.

 

See, now I can drive through clouds of bugs and butterflies with impunity.

 

Damn!! My car has never been that dirty before. The furthest I've driven is from L.A. to San Francisco.

Tasty treats. Nice thing about the ClearBra is the stuff wipes right off.

 

Mine was as dirty when i drove back from LA couple of weeks ago. I used a tooth brush to take all that crap off.

 

Wax the front of you car when you go on a long drive. The bugs will be easier to clean off.

It looks cool and I keep the comfort of 40series tires in the front. Anyway, I blew a tire and bent a rim in the front, so instead of replacing an 18" rim with another 18" rim, I just bought two 19" wheels. eventually I'll get two more 19"ers and sell the 18" wheels for peanuts.
