I could use some phot tips, I know the Gurus are here, I have a Canon S1 IS.

 

oh my...your car looks so sexy from the front. You really did some great work on that grill, and that FMIC is just staring me down Fucking sweet my man!

 

Alwasy a fan of the car, lucky bastard. Grille is a nice touch too. Got any vids of the car on the strip, or accelerating at least?

yeah, any vids of the car accelerating and such? I want to hear and see it, just like rondong said. Your camera should be able to make short videos.

Nice ride. Is the front lower then the back? In the 4th pic down it looks like the front rims are smaller then the back Anyhow, like the rest have mentationed that color is awesome

 

I'm not a photo expert by any means ... but here's some suggestions (btw- sweet camera!)

First pic - Lose the flash, if you've got a tripod or something you can rest the camera on, go for a long exposure instead. Your headlights won't light up, but the rest of the picture won't look so underexposed.

Second pic - The EXIF data for some reason doesn't specify, but it looks like you needed a high ISO to be able to take the picture, there's some pretty visibile noise in the pic ... Again a tripod, lower ISO, and longer exposure would help here. The Image stabilizer may allow you to hand hold for a longer exposure, but a tripod would work a lot better.

Same thing on the 3rd pic.

The rest of the pics look good ... hardly any noticeable chroma on the pics. Low light situations are the hardest to take pictures ... Learning to use the "creative" modes as Canon calls them or the more manual modes on the camera will help you to take better low-light shots.

How do you like the brembos? Do you hear a weird sound from the cross-drilled holes when braking hard? Nice looking car BTW. Good choice in color and tranny choice.

 

Brembos are awsome, what weird sound do you here? They sound normal to me. Or I could be mistaken.

I agree, brembos are awsome. When I brake hard, I can hear the pads sliding over the cross-drilled holes on the rotors which makes a weird sound.

Also, did you ever noticed a slight pulsation on the brake peddle after the brakes get really hot? I noticed this a couple of time when I had been doing some really hard braking.

hey, nice ride. how did you get like that blueish tint in your headlights. did you just use like a blue bulb and the color reflects or something?

 

Love the SSR GT1s, want them on my anthracite too. Seems like I'm in the minority, but not a fan of the no grill/emblem look.

I like the cleared turn signal look too, but both my stock lenses have already leaked so I'm not touching the new headlights I got under warranty.

The blue headlights are just bulbs. The high beams, which I never use.
