before this thread goes the wrong direction..let me just say the vid was impressive to me. i don't push my car like that, but the run was still nice. the only mod u have is an exhaust? (which really doesn't do much as for hp gains) i hate u 6psd guys. lol

..so basically youre still stock. lol.

im interested in seeing the same run done again after you get your headers. should be a big difference.. (but not like im promoting or encouraging driving at a high rate of speed...cough)

Sometimes it could, but wheel hop is not good for the tranny, axles, and suspension. Excessive wheel hop could break things.

Dude , may I ask why you want to remove your speed limiter to go faster then 150 for?
I hit 147 (I guess in crappy auto acura's it only goes 147 opposed to 150 in manual)
and that was plenty fast for me to go and prob will never try it again. Any little thing goes wrong at that speed you DEAD and if someone does not see you (which they prob will not if u are going 150) and changes lanes your DEAD. I guess your still young and think that you pretty much bullet proof (like I did 12 years ago) but trust me your not.
Not tring to bust balls just looking out!

i was referring to engine-mods. and in that sense, minus an exhaust system that basically does nothing for our cars except enhanced sound effects, you are basically stock, engine-wise. and you just stated you dont have headers just yet. so calm your quick-to-be-defensive noob self down. aint nobody attackin you.

Brakes don't make you go faster

Oh, and PS, before you tell everyone that your 0-60 time was SUPER DUPER AWESOME FAST, check out this link.

http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/reviews/rt2147a.shtml

0-60 in 5.9 seconds. Technically your time was mediocre.

Number 1, I never said that I could beat that. I don't want to try. The CL isn't a race car. I'm not going to get into a "my dick is bigger then yours" argument.

Number 2, the people from Motorweek are journalists. They are glorified test drivers with experience.

Don't believe me?

It absolutely does. You don't have traction when your wheels hop. Your not putting all the power to the ground.
