Thanks fellas! I actually like it w/o tint. I think it looks classy when its clean. It's the first car I've ever had that I haven't tinted the windows. Unfortunately, here in CO, the sun beats down so hot and hard that I'm going to have to tint them to keep it cooler inside and I'm affraid the sun is going to distroy my leather seats.

 

your gf has a cls-6spd and you got an '01 auto... ahh... the shame

haha kidding, when shes not looking take it out for a spin i love the black on tan look on cl-s, get 20% tint all around it'll look hot!

LOL! As funny and as strange as this may sound, I actually like my car better! the only thing I like about hers was the Anthracite color. For some reason, I am super partial to my black and tan.....

HAHA! I do love that 6spd too, I guess I didn't mention that. Like I said, I really don't know what it is, I'm just really partial to my car more.


I will tell you one thing though.... My steddad drove out here from FL in his new M3 w/ the SMG 6spd in it this past week. I got to drive that while it was here... THAT BITCH is BADASS! It will shift harder or softer depending on how you have it "set" (which is adjustable at the push of a button). That is the coolest tranny I have ever used. When you change gears (either by the steering wheel paddles or on the console) it feels exactly like your riding in a manual. I would never consider it a "slush-box" by any means. I can't explain it. I WANT ONE! I guess that tranny is based off of BMW's F1 cars or something.

 

SMG > SS. or even the Audi's DSG despite not having seen it in action but it sounds like a good efective concept.
