Just put in Eibach Pro Kit..

Sup guys, me and a buddy put on my Eibach Pro Kit yesterday and it was pretty EASY! So check it out! I think it still needs to settle... but the Rear looks a lot lower than the front... which i hate... but i guess the front springs will settle in soon... hopefully..

So I took off the rear seats in order to get to my shocks n springs etc... now after im all done with everything, the damn Rear BACK seat wont go on!!?? I can get the BuTT part and center console in easily i know that because its just bolt on but the REAR BACK seat wont go in, i tried to put it in the same way i got it out but IT WONT GO IN WORTH A DAMN THING!? I am so flippin frustrated... anyone know any trick to putting the rear seats back in? yanno the part for you BACK and Head rest etc.. not the bottom butt sitting part... lol PLEASE HELP!! WOULD HIGHLY APPRECIATE IT...

Front wheel... about 2 fingers and 3/4

Rear wheel... about 2 fingers..

thats probably how the car will sit regardless of settling. if you look at a stock CL the front wheel gap is more than the rear. if you had it even then the car would look raked.

advice for the next guy...get coilovers.

No trick, just take your time to make sure it is lined up correctly. If you have a buddy or extra set of eyes around, have them peak in through the rear window and help you guide the top in. Once that is in, the rest is a piece of cake. Good Luck.

Drop looks good - hopefully you did your research before you did this, otherwise you are going to kick yourself for not getting coilovers.

The seat is halfway in, there seems to be a hook on the metal thing that is behind the seat that goes into the hole, and it will NOT GO IN... whatsoever!!!! Its really getting on my nerves...

IIRC, there are two hooks. Once you get them situated, it will be easy. Basically, lift the top of the seat as high as you can, push and guide those hooks into place.

You got it out, so it should go back in, otherwise, you broke something.

Funny how you install your suspension, and struggle with the back seat!!!

Thats about as low as your going to get with eibach. Iv got the pro kit with koni yellows and its about the same drop. As far as the back seat goes... when you put it back on make sure you lift on and then push the seat back then drop it down so it goes into the clips.

i was under the impression all eibach springs were pre-loaded, so they actually won't 'settle' lower than what you see right now.

I know this might be a stupid question, but have you tried putting the back in before the bottoms? In other words take the bottom seat cushions out, put the back seat in then the bottoms go in last. Hope this helps. Also, when I did mine, I decided to leave out the two inner bolts since they were almost impossible to get back in. I just put in the outer two bolts and it's been totally fine since then. Keep us posted.

Puting the seats back in was the easiest part of this process. Just put them biotches back in... without damaging the seats

Yes, the backs are supposed to go on first... then the bottom cushions along with the center console... so yeah... BUT I DO HAVE AN IDeA, WOW, i just THOUGHT OF IT RIGHT NOW!!!!!!... I MIGHT HAVE BENT THE METAL HOOKS WHEN I WAS TRYNA TAKE IT OFF... so IM GONA TRY TO BEND IT INWARD ... that would make a little more sense...

Anyway, the front wheel gaps are starting to settle in a little, so thats a plus The rear two wheels seem to go INWARD a little... so thats a little stressful... because i dunno if its gonna screw up my tires or not... i already got an alignment at work... one of the techs hooked me up for 20 bux

Just ordered the 07 TL-S shift knob, should be in tommorow =], so im gonna go into work early and put that in

Soooo did bending the hooks work? You probably should've waited a little longer for the alignment. I've heard to allow at least a few weeks for the springs to totally settle before getting one, but for $20 I guess no harm done. You'll probably need a camber kit for the rear since your wheels are tilting in. I've heard with the Eibach's it can go either way needing a kit or not, depends on the car since we all know every CL seems to differ.

it sorta worked, but i think the clips were in wrong, it went it further, now my gap is little, i just need a buddy to push while i lift up i think ... but yeah, ill get it, not too stressed out about it. FINALLY i bought a TL-S shift knob from work for 56 BUX, ordered it, got there in one day, i cancelled my other shift knob i ordered from OEMACURAPARTS.com ... those faggots didnt even SHIP MINE OUT AFTER a week... **THUMbS DOWN FOR THEM** bleh, and i saved about 15 bux with employee discount =]
