Finally!! M5 Spoiler Posted! (56K Beware)

Sorry, did get a chance to wash my car yet, I know it's really dirty.. I will update the picture once I wash her...

I love it!! Almost every one I've talked to said that they think it's stock!! Just what I was going for!! It fits perfect!! And if and when I get tired of it.. I can just take it off... no drilling required for installation.

Oh yeah, I took my rims off, b/c I just drove up to B.C. this last weekend to visit my aunt and uncle, and I didn't want to waste the rubber bands on my 19's... not to worry, I'm putting them back on very soon..

rabs99,

It was $150 for the spoiler, and another $70 to paint and install.

I bought the high quality 3M tape from the people who sold me the spoiler, my friend at the bodyshop told me that the tape was perfect!

Alright... I will try to hook up as much answers as I can.

Where:

http://www.c-c-c.net/Products_Exterior_CLTL.html

Cost:

$159 and $130 at the website... and $8.50 for the 3M tape.

That's why I said I paid around $150 for the whole thing.

No cutting necessary... it's even long enough so you can bend it to match the curves on our trunk!!!

The TL-kit was inspired by Charles, everything was custom fit for this car by my buddies body shop.

Finally, thanks for all your positive feedback.

So besides parts, you basically just paid to have it painted, right? Everything else you could do yourself?

I have heard that the spoiler has to be modified to fit propery. Is this true? If so, how is it modified? Do you have the M3 spoiler or the M5 spoiler? You post says M5, but I want to be sure.
Thanks,

joe, I have the M5 lip spoiler.

TKO.. that's great!! I wasn't going for the taller spoiler look, I just wanted something that gives a little more defination to our sloped trunk.

darrinb, the kit is color matched about as close as the body shop could match it. Some of the pictures on my homepage are older pictures taken when I had them paint it a lighter shad of blue.

JackCL, can you show me a picture that is similar to what you are describing? Then I can try to that the same kind of picture.

I think the M3 lip spoiler might even be a bit shorter than the M5 one.

yes yes, i wanna see the spoiler from the side and from the front looking towards the back (i like laymans terms :p). looks really sweet though. anything more than that i don't think would look good. gj

Is there a big difference between the M3 and M5 spoiler? (night and day)
