Finally forged

Well I sold my 19's and picked up these forged Centerline Storms. They are 18x7 and +42. They are polished, not chrome. So they will be more maintanance, but if they get bent they can be fixed easily.

The wheel/tire combo weighs 40lbs, which means the wheels weigh ~18lbs. My 19's were at least 10lbs more per wheel, probably more like 55lbs a piece. The tires are 225/40 Toyo Proxes 4 with a ton of tread left. I picked these up local for $700 and sold my 19's with tires for $600, so I think I did pretty well.

Yeah they're pretty similar in design to 2000 Cobra R wheels, which I dont mind, being a Cobra guy.

Definitely less "tuner/bling-ish" than my last set. http://photos.imageevent.com/jtkz13/...e/IMG_0125.JPG

Im not a fan of the polished look, but I like the design better then your last.

I like your car just because of the color.

yeah the last ones were over kill, kinda like a blender blade. You did right on this nes set.
Are you going to take the mud flaps of the rear to show some more of that wide tred?

Nope, they keep the bumper chip free and IMO 225 is terribly NARROW. I guess its all perspective, seeing as how I have these 315' on my Cobra - http://photos.imageevent.com/jtkz13/...e/IMG_0362.JPG

Thanks.

I dont think my car would look good with the popular black/polished lip, or anthracite. Thats just me, but with the chromw window trim chrome/polished stands out nice.
