Comptech Headers all the way...especially since both of us are in Cali.
Smog and everything considered...best way to go IMO.
Save up and get the quality headers so you will more than likely not have to deal with the hisses, leaks, and passing smog.

mainly just sound im not goin to lie. nothing obnoxious but something nice n deep. i got my friends z28 and ws6 for speed lol

Then...I would say if you want some sound.
AEM intake w/ bypass valve (because it rains in Cali)
Greddy EVO exhaust.
Just two I have heard in person and they will produce some head turning sound.
Probably could pull up a vid. on YouTube.

dont greddy evos have the enormous cans that look insanely ricey?

You should consider using Magnaflow mufflers with the stock tips welded back on.
Gives you a nice aggressive sound, and nothing ricey to look at.
The muffler number is 11244 or something like that..PM CL-Slick, he's got the setup I believe.
I'm a fan of GReddys products, but their exhaust just looks WAY too big for a car like ours

You could check out the Tanabe Medallion setup..super subtle and looks nice, one for sale in the BM I believe
