I think that's gonna be the end for this loop of bad luck with this CL.

Even if I can clean it, no guarantee unless you replace the ducts or HVAC or whatever it is.

Just, so not worth the fucking hassle or the $$$

I didn't open the doors yet just saw it through the windows...

I'm trying to asses the situation on some detailing forums and have been consulting with people on the matter.

I just don't think I want to take the health risk...this car in this state isn't worth it.

Thinking about getting another CL right now if it makes sense since I got so many of these fucking parts already.

Yeah I had but not since I got it towed to the garage.

Which has been like 3 months or so.

Before I was moving it every week, like a half a block or whatever.

I fucking knew this would happen the longer it sat...so frustrating.

Just get one of these people who flip cars and post that shit on Craigslist or something.

Still sorting shit out and continuing some research on the interior.

Trying to order some products to clean the interior and see what success I have.

I have been throwing around a million ideas which include just buying another CL.

I just have all these parts already but it's gonna cost me a ton to swap all the parts from one CL to another.

I just don't know....

Gyeah! He said that he chose 26 X 9's rather than 10's because they sit flush!

CL version 3.0 has begun....muaw hahaha...

CL was towed today to San Jose to begin motor work.

Thanks to insomnia...I pulled the trigger on Unorthodox Crank Pulley and Rotora BBK.

Found my custom CF trunk lip under the bed...hmm...muaw hahahaha. Next to Carbon Fiber splitter. [epic fail]

Actually, I've got a long way to go but this is a step in the right direction.

Now I'm looking forward to "driving" to Acurafest...not just attending!

Also, Leather Master Mold Killer is on the way.

Did a preliminary clean with a ratio of vinegar and water.

Cleaned the surface mold via sponge but I'm bringing in the professional grade shit.

Then, just to make sure. I'm still going to take it in for a full interior detailing!

Well yeah I'd let you know.

It'll be attached to a carbon fiber trunk.

Don't know if I can re-salvage the CF splitter.

Need more creativity for that one.

I feel bad for that poor cl. For the mold i would just gut the car and do a full cleaning make sure there is no hidden mold.

Just drop in an odyssey motor like pits did. Hopefully with better results.

I felt bad too...

Yeah I thought about gutting it but I don't have garage access so that sucks.

Leather Master Mold Killer should do the trick.

My concern is that it wouldn't mesh well with CF because of the gloss mismatch.

Looking for other grays...know any good websites to get ideas?

Is the silver on the Bimmer a matte finish? The sides look matte, the hood looks gloss

The CL doesnt have the lines for a matte paint job IMO. You need something angular to pull it off. Something along the lines of a CTS-V or Lambo.

Id go with a dark grey so the CF almost blends in. Im not a fan of CF on light colored cars.

Yeah it's kinda weird...its called frozen gray and it's a new 2011 M3 color.

I agree with you on the CF standing out too much.

Just looking at other dark grays or similar to blend with the SSM engine bay, door jams, etc.

On second thought...think that color wouldn't look good based on the "curvy" design of the car.

Oh yea, thats the color they were charging $9k for. BMW also said you cant wax it.

http://jalopnik.com/5584833/bmw-to-m...-your-car-ever

If its anything like the other "signature paints" they made available, good luck getting the paint codes.

I didn't realize it was that specialized...

Looks cool though...but where can I look for other cool grays or silvers?

Feels like a needle in the haystack.

Yeah maybe something like anthracite.

But...my car had bad paint..like no flex or something.

It's chipping and flaking in some areas.

Then, some one key'd along one side so it just bugs me every time I see it now.

I originally wanted to just do a completely different color but it's going to cost so much more that it's like forget it.

So now I'm interested in other grays, silvers, or charcoals.

same for me. i thought about doing a complete color change but it would have been alot more even though my boy was hooking me up. so i decided to go with a much more brighter nicer red.
