CL and the City

Here is my first amateur mini photoshoot in San Francisco.

Just for the record....before I get chewed out with comments....

* I know my CL looks like a 4x4 without a drop...working on that!

* My Photoshop skills suck!

* My camera skills suck too!

Thanks for looking...Peace.

You should consider taking of the Acura emblems , I think it might look cleaner, but then again with the spoiler , not sure. Other then that, the car looks great, it will be a real head turner once it gets dropped.

I have spent the last month working on and off with those headlights.

Trust me when I say they used to look like this...

https://acurazine.com/forums/wash-wax-23/quick-question-about-orbital-buffers-396068/

Thanks everybody for the comments...can't wait for my Tein Basics.

Actually I was driving on Highway 17 (windy 2-lane highway connecting San Jose and Santa Cruz) and it felt so dangerous taking the turns.

Felt like I was going to fly off the cliffs if I went faster than 55 mph.

Thanks everybody for the comments...Appreciate the feedback.

Have thought about the spoiler....not sure yet.

If I removed it I would have to have my trunk repainted.

Not sure I want to do that but I think it would look a little cleaner. No M3/M5 lip.

Nice car! Stop being so hard on yourself. I'm a member of the 4x4 club too. (thats why I never post pics) Anyway that pic of the hood with the sea and sun in the background is amazing!!!! Great Pic. I live on the east coast by the shore and look out at something similar, just on the opposite coast.

Looks very nice. Car looks like its in excellent shape. I also like your rims. When you do lower it it will really make those rims pop.

Overall very good pics.

Might want to blur out the lic plate # next time. Don't know if it matters but just to be safe.

Thanks.

I thought about the license plate and figured what could happen with that?

I know everybody blacks it out....oh well.

So you guys know my license plate...

Clean, I like it, don't be so hard on yourself. I would probably lower it and throw on some black housing headlights, I just don't think the CL looks right with the clear headlights.

Thanks for the compliment Zach.

I know...I was hard on myself the first time around.

Lowering is on top of my agenda....I just keep finding stuff I want to buy because it is cheaper!

Keeps pushing back my coilovers....no patience.

Working on some custom headlights...black housing for sure.

Going to black out all my chrome...going for like a "Raiders look" black and silver.

Black housing is a part of that look.

Oh noes, teh licence plate is exposed! I'm coming to your house to re-po your ride foo. Really i dont know why people block the plate, (stalkers or something?), but i do it just in case. Rides looking sweet. Drop will really top it off when you get the chance. Take it from someone who did that same drive to Santa Cruz w/ the stock suspension, it's worth it. Oh yeah, 49ers>Raiders, your a San Francisco native .

Yeah...that drives sucks without suspension!

I'm a 49er fan at heart.

Black/silver is a Raiders thing though...just mentioned it because they have the same colors.

Yeah...spoiler...not sure either.

I think about removing it but then I would have to get my trunk repainted right away.

^ Did you install the Icebox?

I was told that the ECU needs time to make adjustments and realize that the engine is being supplied with more air.

That could take a tank or two of gas to make it's internal adjustments.

Some others said I could speed up the process by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.

Yeah I would like to check out your CL.

Going to that meet in Sac this weekend?

We need to get a Bay Area CL meet together.

No offense but I'm kind of sick of all the TL's running around.

^^ Mine's not as modded as yours that's for sure! But Kiran & those guys know that I don't have the dough fer mods coz both kids of mine (no, not donald...lol the real ones..) go to h/s now w/ the oldest goin to college next year... Yeah, seems like everytime I went to the previous meets there were very few CL's & mostly 1st gens like Justin's & Mike's...mine always felt left out

That's cool.

Hey you got to do what you got to do.

I'm sure it's hard to justify spending $$$ on a CL when you got a kid going to college next year.

Yeah..it's cool.

I'm really into the community aspect of the forums and meeting with new people who share an interest or hobby of your own.

That's great and that is what makes the forums interesting to me.

I really don't have the money for the mods either...but somehow I figure a way to pinch funds from something else.

I've actually done a lot of mods to my CL since those pics were posted but I want to wait for my coilovers to arrive before I post pics so I am just leaving some teasers out.
