Bu bye 2001, Hello 2003
No more 2001 with the slushbox tranny. I jumped into a 2003 Anthrocite navi Which I like much better. Tell me what ya think. I am currently awaiting to take it to the strip to see what it ill do. It feels much better than the 2001.

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. I hear from a only a few that they like the silver better. My thought is that they are selling it at a local dealer in valencia CA. They could buy it and :wackit: cause I think the tranny will die again.
Word to the wise the rear spoiler really does help with overall stability at high speed ie. greater than 120 mph. With the new car I definitaly feel less stable even with the neuspeed front and rear stabalizers. I think that the wing puts a great deal of downforce on the rearend.
Both cars easily reach goverened top speeds of 150 mph. The 2003 Anthrocite 6 speed only gets there much faster where as the auto got the fourth gear bog.
Please understand, I do this without risking any other individual other than myself and my car. Maybe the occcasional squirrel.

As for the Yokies, you can feel the sidewalls roll early in the turn, but they hang on. Never lost it (knock on wood). 130 mph on a banked corner drifting slowly outside your lane is a scarry feeling. It is nice cause they let you know early when you are getting close to the edge of the tires capability.
Where as the pirrelli tires (p7000) give you no warning and your A** gets all loose and wild. It takes a while to get used to for the Yokies. As for my next set of tires, they will another brand.
As for the 35 series I will go to 40 series due to road imperfections causeing havoc on one of the rims.
