Bored, New Camera

Just got a new camera, Nikon D50, and I was really bored! Messed around with some settings but couldn't quite get a perfect one. Oh well, here they are...

I shot at the lowest, which was 200 iso. I also went to the highest at 1600 iso(which wasn't good).

Im not good with cameras but thats why I had my buddy wit me(the sc). He changed the shutter speed and also some kind of "f-stop". I dont know, but if you have any suggestions, that'd be cool

There's a lot of noise in those pictures to be at 200 ISO. Which lens were you using?

Took pics at the same area couple weeks ago, it was really getting dark fast. I want to go back when i have a tripod and a better camera, maybe a bit more time, could get some good shots there.

Good pics, may I also suggest taking the front plate off just for shoots? They completely destroy the lines of the car. I love the background though.

I was shooting with the Nikon D50 with the standard lens (DX AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm)

It's at Treasure Island. If you're coming from San Francisco, just take the bay bridge towards Oakland and you'll see an exit called "treasure island" to the left about 2 miles once your on the bridge. Great tourist place!

Funny you said that, cause I was about to take it off, but only had the phillips screw driver in my car. There was another tool needed, forgot whats it called, but its an octagon shaped bolt.

You don't necessarily need a better camera....it all depends on how you utilize the camera you have at the moment.

You'll get the hang of it.....I started off taking pics with my Point and Shoot and it wasn't so bad until I got my DSLR and learned more about taking pics. Not saying that i'm the best photographer but I'm improving...
