Black Cl W/ Tl A-spec Rims

SUP TO ALL THE PIMPS W/ THE NICE RIDES OUT THERE. I BOUGHT MY 2001 CL TYPE-S OVER THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY AND MAN THAT'S A BAD RIDE. 2001 CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED, EXTENDED WARRANTY, AND OH YEAH, I HAD THEM PUT THE 2004 ACURA TL A-SPEC RIMS ON IT. ALL THIS OUT THE DOOR FOR $19,500. HERE IS A LINK TO MY PAGE AT CARDOMAIN.COM, PLEASE GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK AND IDEAS. I PLAN TO HIT IT WITH A FULL COMPLIMENT OF BOLT-ONS BY COMPTECH AND I'LL SOON BE CHANGING THE GOLD PACKAGE TO THE SILVER PACKAGE. I WANTED TO DROP IT AT FIRST BUT DECIDED AGAINST IT DUE TO WARRANTY ISSUES. ANYWAY, THANKS FOR DROPPING BY AND I HOPE YOU LIKE IT.

HR, TEIN and a few others. If you remain with those rims you'll be fine.

I coulda sworn that I read somewhere on a-cl that the a-spec rims aren't even supposed to fit? I absolutely wanted to get 'em. Syde, how much did you get 'em for? They look awesome on the ride.

-And where does it stick out? I don't see it?

Time for sleep: The rims do fit, CL and TL use the same axles but slightly different offsets. Consequently, the rims do stick out on the sides of the car about a half inch. As for the price, I had the rims put on the car and wrapped into the deal. If you bought them outright you're looking at spending at least $2,500 for rims and tires. The car is certified and the rims and tires are brand spanking new (in fact, I had them pull the rims off a TL they had on the lot). They gave me the wheels for $2,000 on top of the price of the car. When all was said and done I paid $19,500 out the door.

SocaliCLS: As of right now, 49kj. I bought the car at 47k.

DEI99662/Mark307: Thanx.

There are two A-Spec wheels. The '04 models, and the newer ones. The '04 ones are 8.5" wide and have a darker color to them. The newer ones are only 8" wide, and have a lighter color to them.

Personally, I think that the rims don't work with the car at all. But, good luck with the car.

From the cardomain pics though, I still really like it. NICE.

Edit: nvm, no red x. It's not TOO bad. Nice.

I guess we need to better define the word "fit"

Yes they are 5x114.3 but wheels are meant to sit inside the wheel wells (or at least flush with them)
