Another M5 spoiler (Silver CLS)

Just installed my M5 spoiler. I wish it was curved more for a perfect match with our cars but o well. It didn't like it at first but looks good to me now. The difference a day makes.

Paid $50 for it off ebay and $70 to paint (would have been $50 for paint but I wanted it done right away)

Yeah I know I need 03 tails but I kinda like the 01/02 and $300 for tail lights just isn't me.

Install time for M5 spoiler was about 30 mins,
1) Wash area with dish soap to remove wax, and dry (If you waxed recently)
2) Use masking tape to mark and line up spoiler
3) Lightly score are where the spoiler goes with steel wool
4) Wipe the area with rubbing alcohol and dry with clean cloth
5) Have someone help you, remove the tape backing, line it up ,and put it on.
6) Rub the spoiler down to make sure all the tape makes contact

Pedals look good too. I've got the same set and they are worth the slight headache the brake pedal can give ya.

Did you have to modify the spoiler to get it to fit around the contour of the trunk deck?

More install help please.

I like How about a profile pic? I like the rear look, need another angle to get the full effect.

BTW, how do you apply? Glue?

Guru-

I am looking to add a similar Spoiler to my car, but everyone I call on a paint quote is quoting about 150-200 bucks just to paint it...

Do you have any suggestions on what my options are?

Do you know the specifics on how much time it took and what type of paint job they did?

Any info you have might help....Thanks
