6000k bulbs installed PICS

OK i installed the 6000k bulbs, and WOW they are hott. I took pics of my car, and my dads RL. His HIDs used to look exactly like mine before... the bulbs i bought are the Philips cool power Enon 6000k D2r

I would take better pics, but its snowing bad out and i dont feel like taking both cars out just to take pics.

These lights were warmed up. Also check out the differnce between the RLs halagon fogs... CHECK OUT THAT GROUND.

I bought them used off a guy. he was selling his car, so i got lucky. But i think they are around 300 new. Not sure. Im not sure if there are differnt brand names, but i have heard some people talk about the Ultrion 6000k, I think mine are different than those. Heres the box for mine.

so you just swapped the bulbs out? you didn't need to change any of the electronics components like the ballast, etc?

its a straight swap, as long as you get the D2r bulbs.

Ok im in a good mood so i will do a write up for the install. Keep in mind im a moron and dont give directions well.

OK... when you are looking at the cover of which the bulbs are udner... this is the weatherproof cover... and there is a securty key screw, only one, in there... you need a T20 to get it out. After this is removed, you can turn the houseing, its on tight so just turn hard. Then that comes off and then you just want to unplug the bulb, by turning it, just like you would any bulb. This next part is the only thing that threw me off. There is a screw on the under the bulb. and a silver circle thing around it. When you see it you will know what i mean. When you see the silver circle thing, push on it, and move it to your left and away, it should clip out. Make sure it doesnt fly off anywhere. After that is off, the bulb will come straight out. Then just swap the bulbs. I told ya im not good at giving directions.

here is the T20 that you need..
