Should I use zmax with my next oil change?

No. Just use good quality, name brand oil. Either dino or syn will do, but you can go longer with syn. Be very sure you use a good quality filter with it. See a multitude of threads here on the subject.

Zmax and the like is just another way to separate you from some of your money.

use seafoam if antything, zmax is a gimmick

Factory recommended oil change interval is 7250 miles. Unless you run your car very hard have a ton of mods or live in very cold or dusty condition your wasting your $ changing it before that.


With that said any good quailty oil will do fine regular or synthetic.

just curious what weight oil everyone is using 5w20 i believe is recommended right?

03 on. Before that it was 5w30. Both Ford and Honda changed to the 5w20 recommendation to meet fuel economy standards. The motors were/are the same between the different years. Personally I use the 5w30, but either one is just fine.

i put a can of oxiclean in my oil every other oil change. my car has run better ever since i started doing that.
