I don't do the steering wheel. I don't want that stuff touching my hands ALL the time. I did it once in my old car and haven't done it since. Have you tried it on the dashboard???? AWESOME

Why do you want that much shine on your leather? In my opinion, leather is not suppose to be shiny, it is suppose to look dull and natural. I only put 1 coat on at a time every 2 months or so. But different strokes for different folks.

Aren't u just wasting the leather conditioner? Leather can only absorb a certain amount of conditioner and then it just rubs off on your clothes when u sit down. I usually do mine ones a month. Or twice a month during the hot summer months.

More is not always better.

nah man...my seats eat this stuff up like there's no tomorrow since the other stuff i was using wasn't nearly as good!! a lot of the shine goes away and looks way more natural when it dries

I bet if you hop in one side with too much momentum, and if both doors were open, you would slide right out the other side!

Clearcoated leather does not soak up any conditioner. It is a waste of money. The product simply evaporates into thin air once the sun heats up the cabin,

The best thing to do is occasionally hit it with a good cleaner, like 303 or Lexol and wipe it down with a damp microfiber or cotton towel.

Anything else is a waste of money. Companies that sell leather conditioner scam most consumers. Unless you drive a Rolls, Ferrari, Lambo, or other exotic, leather conditioner does nothing for the leather. Makes the clearcoated top coat very shiny. That's about it.

How do you know that the CL leather is "clearcoated"?

I disagree. The Zaino stuff has far outlasted the lexol that i was using. I might've gotten 1-2 days out of the Lexol. It's almost a week and the seats still feel great!

Im using Lexol right now for my leather. I am going to use the Zaino stuff next month to see the difference between that and Lexol. People have good words for Lexol.

I alternate between Lexol and 303. Lexol for conditoner. The 303 to protect. 303 makes the leather slick (which I don't like).

I believe the Owners Manual say to use leather conditioner.

I though Zaino was good till I tried 303.

To each his own. Use what makes you happy. No disrespect to anyone for using conditioner.

Hey guys, could we use something like Meguairs Leather conditioner on our leather sofas at home? Or would it be a problem? Thanks

P.S. Leather sofas are not clear coated are they?

Hmm....looks good. I usually put on one layer per week of Tanners...works well. I might want to consider this stuff when I run out, give it a shot.

By the way, your floormats are dirty.

It depends on the sofa. I have leather and it's coated with a very light layer of wax. I have the kind of leather that's dark brown and when you scratch it with your nails, the scratches show (I forget what it's called, but it cost me a FORTUNE). The best thing to do with your furniture is talk to the store you bought it from, they know best.

I'm not a big fan of shiny leather. Just like our dash, the seats should have a dull look to them. Shiny reminds me of vinyl seats. Yuck...

To each his own...

listen kiddies...i already told u my leather eats this shit up BIGTIME...nothing gets on my clothes/me b/c i don't touch it til the next morning (approx 12 hours later)...it's much less shiny in the morning but still has a nice glaze...look again at the last pic, specifically at the leather inserts on the sides...look at how the back insert is not shiny at all...the back was done 24 hours prior to that pic being taken
