yet another key fob question...

sorry guys but i just bought a 02-03 key fob to replace the one for my 01...tried to program with no success...its fcc code ends 444...do i need one that ends 443....???

I did the same thing, I have an 01 ClS and I got an 02 TL key....I programmed, it excepts the alarm by locking the doors but it doesn't work when I try to use it afterwards....The codes are similar except one letter and they said it would work...

just take the plastic cover and swap it with the circuit board from the origional.
