Doesn't it come on if a brake light is out. Sounds like maybe one is on its way out.

Either that or check your brake fluid level.

mine comes on every day at first start up when engine is cold for about 15 min...then it goes off. i think its something with the float in the reservoir.

Mine used to come on randomly as well. I opened up the brake fluid reservoir and pushed the float that was inside up and down to make sure it wasn't stuck. I was going to change the reservoir cap which has a sensor and before mentioned float as other members have done. However The light stopped coming on for no reason after tinkering with it . So I left it alone. If you do decide to change the cap sensor it's around twenty dollars I believe.

Happened to me too. I'd jus tap the e-brake (don't push it too far while driving. DUH!) and it would go off. Sensor was most likely bad since I just did a brake fluid flush/refill/bleed and it would come on randomly when I hit bumps in the road.

Sweeeet. I love brake systems. Always a mess to clean and fix.

I had the same problem with my brake light. It would turn off after 15 minutes or so. I ended up bleeding the brake system and replacing the fluid, worked like a champ for me. The light now only comes on when the E-brake is on.
