XS headers, NEW design. SUpreme.6 speed

Recieved and installed new style xs headers over weekend. Fit was great, bolted up no porblems.

hardest part was them dam cat bolts. what a reash!!.

XS did well.. They colorede nicely, personaly i think they sound pretty dam good. I have no resenator muffler, stock exhaust, stock cat, CAI, and i was told it has a slight resembance of a ferrari, and an F1. Yea a ferrari, ahah, it was a little raspy right outa th ebox, but after driven hard, for a couple long hours, they defiantly openevgd up.

And for anyone doing any type of engine work, you should defiantly disconnect the battery, leave it over night, leave yoru dome light on also just to make sure you drain all the power, and let the car re train itself with the fresh mods.

I have no compaints for the xs headers. Well see how they hold up but, i cant see issues coming about. Full stainless, i also wrapped the flex pipe, based on others memebers comments, and also you can see the difference from the stock one its better quality for sure.

No need to go through all that. It will learn after a few drive cycles.

I'm glad to see these again for the 6mt guys. Don't know about these ones but the original set I had lasted 50K miles before the flex broke due to bad engine mounts.

yea?? I dont know, i was advised its better to clear it, and let the comuter do what it does. To each ios own, i did it, and couldnt be happier either way.
I would recommend wrapping the flex pipe, but then again, thats based off the older model so maybe th enew one is good. I had soem wrap from a buddy, all is good.

I reused the OEM gaskets as well. I didn't like the looks of the cheap gaskets they sent with the kit. The exhaust note is higher pitched with the factory cat back which after getting used to, I like. Congrats. I ended up having to chop my cat off and go get everything rewelded.

So that's 3 guys now on this board who've bought the new XS headers. With all the reviews being positive.. nice. SSAutoChrome has em for about $100 cheaper than the XS site, but it says out of stock. Which site did you guys get it from?

Also to note: on the XS website it says lifetime warranty. Can't go wrong damn

Sold mine some years back for 3x what I paid for it. Did include OEM gaskets, bolts, header wrap, and more.
