XEPHYR CAI--AEM bypass works!!

well...we got a 'little' water here in houston last night and i can say that i 'officially' field-tested the AEM bypass included on my XEPHYR CAI (<<< unabashed product plug).
i drove thru some water at about door level and know that the filter took a full dunk of water on a few occasions. i had no problems at all and everything worked like a charm. i could not have used a CAI without a bypass and made it home.

thanks XEPHYR for going the 'extra mile' and including the bypass with your products!! email me if ya need a testamonial!!

I am assuming the smilie was meant for me and not Xephyr.
SO!
Here are Iridium quotes from the past. Right back at Ya.

"As long as you make me aware of the fact that the CAIs will be delayed, that's fine."

"So now I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs while I wait for the CAI."

"So does this mean that they were shipped or not?"

"What kinda shipping? 2nd day air still? *sigh* I've been waiting forever for these..."

"I agree...we will be receiving these over a week late at this rate."

"Xephyr, I speak for almost everyone, we would really appreciate it if you would email us with important info, such as dates, shipping, etc."

"Well??????"

"Damn it. Would it kill him to email us one way or another?!"

"Question is, will they ever arrive."

"Damn still no tracking # for me. Oh well at least I know they are in transit finally."

"Damn it. Did you ask him for the tracking # or did he automatically send it to you?"

"Still no tracking # or anything. If I can get the thing by Monday, I'll be happy. If not I want my money back. I paid via PayPal w/ my Visa. Anybody know as to how I can get my $$$ back? I still want the CAI though...
rather the CAI than the money. Monday is my limit though..."

"Still no tracking #. Tommorow will be the biggest test of faith...will it arrive at my doorsteps or not?"

WOW! Well, at least it worked out for you huh? That's nice. As long as you didn't get FUCKED, that's cool.
At least he didn't steal your money and leave you stranded like me and others from that last order.

I can also say the AEM Bypass Valve really works. (Although this has nothing to do with Xephyr... AEM makes it.)

But anyway... yea... after many rainstorms... large puddles... and car washes... the sponge on the outside of the bypass is wet everytime... I assume that means its workin. And it ensures me that a bypass is a must if you get any sort of

It is very disturbing for me to sit here day after day and read these flame posts to Chris. I have to say that I was a firm believer in his products but I have not heard from him in weeks. Very Disturbing. Considering it now comes down to fundamental fairness...... Where is the money, where is the support?, I am amazed that there are people here still still willing to take the sword for Xephyr when he has not even defended himself on this forum and he IS READING THIS FORUM.

CHRIS IF YOUR READING THIS YOU OWE ME A PHONE CALL. YOU MISSED THE PARK AVE MEET BUT I THINK YOU KNOW THAT.

Well, look at it this way; the real value of this forum is to share information - good and bad. I was dying to add a CAI, but after reading the posts, decided to hold off. Hopefully, all fellow cl-s owners that were not treated fairly will come out okay.

Owners of a car of this calibre have high standards and should expect to receive good customer service. It is not too much to ask. The parts that can add performance to our cars don't do us any good if it is a hassle to get them!
