Wrecked my CL :rahela:

This morning while driving to school I got into a bad accident. I was about to make a left turn and out of no where a corolla jumps out and clips me on the FR corner. Everything turned black, airbags deployed, time slowed , I cannot convey the feeling. I got tunnel vision and before I could react my car had taken out two light poles and traveled what seemed an eternity. There was smoke everywhere I couldn't move, there wasn't any blood but my whole body was in shock and pain. And then like in the movies, someone out of nowhere opens the door and starts taking off my seat belt, it was a woman she grabbed me however she could and dragged me away for the car.

Currently I don't even know to feel about it. The event just keeps replaying in my head, what if i would've taken out some people along with those poles? The CL is a well built vehicle and I 'm not just saying that. I only took one pic when I was on the ground. I had just changed the water pump, timing belt, pulleys, tensioner, and valve cover gaskets. man it hurts

Glad you're ok. I hope the lady didn't make anything worse by dragging you out. (I'm assuming the car wasn't on fire or anything).

Thanks you guys I'm really bummed out. Here are some more pics, I was able to turn on the car and move it. I'll probably sell it for parts. The engine was saved.

You're telling the story, which is the main takeaway. The car can be replaced. Glad it all ended without catastrophe.

Sorry man. Glad you okay, if it means anything the car took the hit like a champ, and it kept you safe.

Holy crap!!! Sorry bro...

So, it was the Corolla's fault I assume? Is their insurance taking care of YOU and your damages?
