WOW The Armrest!

I have a 2 month old 2001 CL Type S (new to me) and while on a road trip this weekend I found out that the armrest slides forward SUPER COOL!!! I’m sure everyone knows that but it was news to me.

I can relate. I had a 1994 Integra that I drove for a couple of years before I found the limbar support on my driver's seat.

Your gonna love this....

I STILL get people who own the 1st generation legend that don't know about the hidden storage compartments in the door armrests. Can you imagine, 10 plus years in a car and not knowing something like that?

One better, When I worked for Toyota, there was a guy who purchased a pre-owned Camry. He brought it in to the service department because one of his passenger side ac vents would not blow. While performing the usual inspection, the tech noted that the vent was a "dummy" and found that the dash was covering a secret compartment. When he got it opened, he found a gun and other stuff inside. The cops were all overn that car for quite some time. True story!

I noticed it when I slammed on the brakes one time with my arm on it, it shot all the way forward... I was like WTF? But it doesn't do me any good, I always keep it all the way back.

That's not 100% correct. There is a 10 min timer. After that you have to turn the key back to the "ON" posistion again.

No way. We owned 2 first gen legends, a red coupe and a gold sedan and I never knew that. Did the 2nd gen have them as well, my sister had a red 95 LS coupe manual. I loved that car, too bad she was and still is, a crappy driver and wrecked it.

I had a '91 coupe, but I dont remember.

Also,
if you unlock your door and don't open it, it will relock itself in "awhile"
thats all I can think of

There is a 1x2x6 inch hidey hole under the cupholder. Also, you can drive upside down and the motor won't crap out like a carburated motor would.

I first discovered the sliding armrest when I sat on it while cleaning the rear seats. Almost fell backwards into the dash.

I like being able to have the seat position linked to the key fobs, that way my g/f can use the car and not mess up my seat position and mirror positions

Shouldn't let your girlfriend use your car. Some women can be bad for cars.
