If you had the money ou could do anything. The difference between the caddy fronts on the trucks is that those are all kits that are made for them to just bolt right on. Remember that the TL and cl share underpinnings but the body is totally different.

Anything is possible, but it'll take a lot of work. Will fillsize chevys and fords the whole core support unbolts and the Caddy core support can be added. With our cars that's all part of the unibody, so it's a little difficult.

I always thought the kits for converting Silverados to Caddy fronts or denali fronts were not actually "kits" at all. They were factory parts...everything fits and bolts exactly the same.

My dad was about to buy a '98 dually that he was gonna trick out and add a 02 escalade front on and all kind of stuff. I looked up the information in truckin' magazine and most of the ads said they were factory parts and no major modifications were necessary.

I could be wrong though.

yeah youre wrong its a kit, but its pretty much all the factory parts you need in 1 package new escalade fronts cost like 3500 or so, old ones are about 1800, and you cant put a new escalade front on an old body style truck/suv

My reason for is asking; I want the TL lip and fogs

What if you cut the bumper on the cl an inch below the headlights and fab the TL bumper cover cut from about the same place on the top half of the CL bumper cover.........
Does that sound alot more easy to do ?
You guys think that would work...I'd go to a body shop , but cant find the time to....
