Would these rims fit my car?

They'd have to have a really high offset.....like +50-55!!!

 

They would probably rub like crazy...unless you plan on driving in a straight line all the time.

Also the quality of the rim looks piss poor.

 

So what is the correct spec i need for the rims to fit on my car?

 

I would go no wider than 8" with a minimum of a +45 offset!!!!!

so this is what i should look for and is any wheel or tire sizes better then the other?

 

my rims are 18x7 with 42 offset...verrrrry minor rubbing, that is fixable...

 

that's about it....

there are people on this forum with 235/40/18 and up to 42mm offset on 7.5 inch width if you want to push the limit.

 

Ok next step is; does anyone know where i can get a set of nice chrome rims and tires for about $1500-2000. I did tred wheelmax but the rims i want are 18x8.5. Also i tried car rack but nothing
any where else?

Looks like they might be available in 18x8. Not sure about the offset.

if you can try and buy local... that way if you have any problems you can go see the guy who sold you the rims instead of shipping the shit back....


my offset is 42mm but I did not drop the car yet.... next week i will let you know...LOL...

I am looking into getting some new rims too....

Can someone explain to me what "offset" means? I tHink I have a general idea, but I wanna be sure. so is 8inches the max width that will fit on the CL-S?....i've seen some ppl w/19" rims, but not sure what their width is, I'm sure its close to 8". Please advise.
