All this shit happened within this past week.

1. Car gets very lightly key'd. Should be able to buff out.
2. Car gets paintballed. Whole thing covered. I'm going to have it professionally detailed tomorrow to get it all off.
3. Someone spreads mud on all my windows.
4. Car gets backed into last night.



Does anyone know how hard it is to get the paintballs off? I washed it by hand, but not all of it came off.

 

some ppl are so disrespectful. get a real gun and shoot back at them next time.

when you get it detailed, im sure they can get it off for you.

Find a good body shop,maybe they can suggest a product that can remove the type of paint used. I'm guessing that type of paint is water soluble and a good cleaner/polisher should help remove it. Did the impact from the paintball leave a mark?

 

Ouch. Someone must really hate you or your car for all that to happen. I don't know how hard it is for paintballs to come off of a car, but I do know that i was never able to clean it off of my shoe last time I played. This was YEARS ago too, shot with a relatively weak paintball gun. Might take a bit of work to remove. Hope thoise bastards get whats coming for them.

 

what kind of marks you talkin about? when you take it to the detailer tell them to hit it with a swirl remover. i know everybody with our cars has swirls.

hey check you insurance... I had my car keyed once and not lightly, my insurance paid for it, didnt cost me, it fell under vandelism

Update: It gets worse.

Front passenger side 19" tire blows out on me last night.

Due to blown tire, and rollin on 3 19"s and a 15" spare off an Evo IV, I drive my dad's truck to work. I run out of gas just before the exit.

I let a buddy of mine at work last night use my laptop to watch movies after I left. He was supposed to work today and bring it back to me. He called in sick today, and his vacation starts tomorrow. So hopefully I'll see it when he comes back.

Yeah, I'm selling her. Call me a quitter all you want. I've got something up my sleave that I want to get and work with. Something completely different. I love the CL but she can't do what I want to do so off she goes.

Oh, and BTW, I haven't been around much lately because I've just been really busy.

 

I am an avid paintballer, and I'll tell you that paintball paint is hard as hell to get off the clear coat! I first washed as much as I could off using a mild detergent. Second, I clay barred the area to get all of the dirt off of the marked area. Third, I used a green solvent with a new white tarry(sp?) cloth and rubbed off the mark. This will take off any wax that you originally had on there, and it will make the paint look very dull! Never fear though, after washing thoroughly, and three stage wax job, assuming you'd do the rest of the car, you will never even notice the paintball paint was there.
