I have almost 93k mi on my '01 CLS, and I hope to keep it till 150k mi. Like everyone else, I've had the transmission replaced, but has anyone noticed problems with the transmission past 100k miles?

 

To help you can get a transmission cooler, switch to synthetic trans fluid (Amsoil makes one) and don't abuse third gear...that's all I know!

I put in a tranny cooler and used the redline high temp atf. I would say my shifts are smoother. I'm sure keeping the tranny temps cooler helps out. But, don't have the misconception that a tranny cooler will solve any problems.
