Windows up/down

Does anyone have vibrations and jerking of your windows when opennig or closing?
My passenger side window shutters and jerks as it slides down, sometimes its very bad and loud, sometimes they are not noticable.
I showed it to the dealer, and at that time they could not reproduce it.. I'll complain again next time i am doing my maintance...

My driver side window does the same thing (44,000 miles) and the dealer is installing a new "window track" or some such. It's under warranty so I can let you know if it fixes the problem.

Does your window do that on the way down or/and up?
Mine seems to do that on the way down only. I wonder if your problem is the same as mine, let me know how it goes.

Hey russianDude,

Does your noise happen at low or high speeds? Cuz mine at low speeds I don't hear it that much, but when I am driving on the freeway, I always hear it.

It has nothing to do with speed. I can hear this noise when my car is parked and I simply press 'down' button on my passenger window... as window moves down it jerks and vibrates, and makes a noise like my car is 10 years old.

everything is covered under warranty as long as dealer can reproduce it and acknowledge that it is a problem

Looks like I am not the only one, another common problem on many CLs?
If my car would be 10 years old, and my windows would vibrate and make noises on the way down, i would not care.... but after paying 30K and having only 20K miles I am expacting top notch quality.... so i'll go and complain, maybe they already have service bulletin for this...

This has happened to my drivers side door twice. Both times they replaced the motor.

the only thing i notice about my windows is that the door panel seems to "pop" out when i roll down and "pop" back in when its fully rolled up. i dont roll the windows a whole lot so it doesnt bother me.

actually went to the dealer for this problem yesterday. got a call that "everything was taken care of" and foolishly believed it. went to pick it up after service had left and when i looked at the paperwork...cannot reproduce concern.

Next time I am actually going to show them.... maybe have the tech. standing and you showing him... cause I got the same thing "could not be reproduced".
All you got to do it to compare it to the other window, and you can see the difference imeadiatly!

Well, I just picked up my car and the window shudder is gone. Mine would shake and stutter when I went to put the driver side window down. No problems going up. The dealer replaced the Left Front Window Channel, P# 72275-S3M-A01.

Hope this helps.

I just dropped my car off today at Acura to get the rattling of the window fixed, but apparently they couldn't reproduce the noise. So I made them take another day to inspect it. I'll do whatever to get that damn noise fix. I think I might have to show them, I don't think they are inspecting too well.

No, sorry but I did not see the part. I was just told it had arrived (they ordered it from a previous appt) and I went in for the installation.
