has anyone tried anything like this?

possibly running a delayed switch to link the door unlock to the window down if the unlock button on the key fob is depressed somehow... i am kinda disappointed it wasn't on my cl or the old/new tl

my parents old 96 maxima had the windows down if you hold unlock, and the vw's i have driven used the key to put windows down close the sunroof etc...

 

I think the TSX has this feature...?

 

really can anyone confirm that, I don't remember it on my test drive... but I don't think I tried...

im pretty sure tsx has it, since my 03 accord has that feature....

 

man, i tried it on the 04 tl and it didn't work

 

Buy yourself a nice Clifford/Viper alarm and you'll get that feature + an alarm to protect the car.

 

The new accords if you turn and hold the key one way it opens all windows about an inch.

 

all 4 windows go down, with the push of a button on the new accords (hold down unlock key for a few seconds), well i have the EX version maybe thats the difference.

 

I might have to go check that out on her car.....

 

I've got the viper 790xv or whatever...the one with the pager. Any chance you know how much the windows up/down thing costs to add on to this?

It's a cool feature. Especially when you're walking up the car and it's hot inside the cabin.

so it does it from the door but not the key fob

You can roll all the windows + open sunroof from remote. You cant close them form the remote. For that you need to stick your key in the lock and hold it in the locked position

 

The TSX does do this also. My friends parent's Lincoln LS did this all from the remote. hold unlock, it would put all windows down and sunroof open. Hold lock, it would close it all back up.

Anyone thinking what I'm thinking? Possible to swap on whatever relay or whatever does it on the 04 acuras to our CL?

 

BINGO!!!... we just need to do the research and find out what is needed to make it happen...
