Window Trim Replacement

I have been wondering if anyone has replaced the window trim/rubber around their windows. I noticed that while on the expressway I am hear more and more wind noise. Any advice? Any help will be appreciated.

look on ur doors where the mirror ends/begins in proximity to the door seal.. see if it's popping up there.

Our cars have a tendency to build up rust right near there underneath the weather stripping. if u pull it back a tad you may unfortunately find rust. this may be causing the seal to NOT seal anymore and could be ur problem, and may not actually be the seals themselves.

I have this issue on my CL I just put rust inhibitor on it and then puttied up some marine grease on there so no water can get on that spot to SLOW the process.

but eventually it'll have to have something done

take a CLOSE look at the seal and make sure there is no bulging anywhere. cause if there is, that's more than likely ur issue. ;-)

I have a bit of wind noise coming from the upper driver's window when its rolled up all the way. Goes away when I push out on the window. The rubber is all in good shape, but I know that window had been replaced by previous owner, and when I look carefully at the driver's door it appears the lines are off by a bit. Appears I have to get the door to close a few millimeters higher, hoping that fixes my problem. Going to try and figure out how to fix the door alignment, may just be a matter of adjusting the latch.

Maybe a good idea to check the door fitment??

Good luck.

I noticed how our seal is attached to the door, whereas all the other cars ive looked at the seal is connected to the body. Both my doors rattle now after getting my car painted gonna have to take it apart and reinstall
