wind noise from dash?

wind noise from dash?

on the left side of the dash i have a wind noise or a vaccuum noise coming from the vent on top opposite the small tweeter speaker. anyone had this or heard of it? most noticeable when cold.

yeah most all of the time unless i have the climate control on high defrost. then i dont notice it.

It's probably the glass against the window frame... over time the window frame gets bent outwards from closing the door...

Roll down your window slightly (1/4 inch) and see if the noise goes away... If you can consistently make it stop over the course of a couple of days by rolling down the window, then try this (do so at your own risk):

The sound is similar to having a 1/4 full coke can in the cupholder... More like static then wind noise... at least on my 6spd were NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) might be a bit more then on an automatic CL.

I've got to "tweak" my frame (have to do it every year it seems) as I noticed the noise the other day... I usually don't notice it with the a/c and radio on...
