Yes, it will work. Although there are several differences between the two, but either one will plug-n-play in the CL/TL.

Also I think that the temp gauge gets messed up. When you start the car, it goes up to H and stays there...

Yes the gauges are interchangeable but I am pretty sure the rpm's will look a bit off since obviously you won't have the higher redline of a real CLs. That, and yes the cl does have TCS and not VSA, so the VSA light may be on since it can't read or interpret signals it usually would.

Pull the VSA bulb to get around that one...and I think someone here figured out a fix for the temp gauge. try searching for that one

I ran with a CL-P gauge cluster for a day or two when I was testing out my LED conversion. The VSA/TCS lights never came on, and the temp gauge worked just fine. Although, every once and a while the temp would display a higher temp than normal, but then would show the correct temp after a while. And yes, the tach gauges are different, though they function the same way. If all you're wanting is the different gauge faces, I'd suggest just swapping out the gauge faces instead of the entire cluster, for obvious reasons.

how do you swap just the gauge faces only then?
if you pull the needles, will that mess up the whole thing?

No need to pull the needles. Just push each gauge assembly out of the cluster and replace them.

If you're going to be replacing the entire cluster with a lower mileage you'll have to report that to the DMV, then your vehicle may decrease in resale value because of it. Just something to think about.

Anyway, yes, the gauges will just pop out and plug into either CL-P/CL-S clusters.

What I mean is getting a lower mileage that is within the reasonable range since last smog check.

Anyone else have any experience with this? Maybe someone can come down to Long Beach or we can meet up somewhere and give it a try.

acuraoemparts.com carries them new. that would probably be your best chance at finding them.

You'd be better off purchasing a used cluster off ebay than spending ~$100 on just the gauge faces.
