I'm going to take in my 2003 CL-S to my Acura dealer for the first time because of a check engine light and I was wondering I have an AEM CAI installed as well as H&R Sports Springs will the CAI or the Springs void the car's warranty in any way?

Shouldn't, but all dealers are different. They will check the computer code & they can tell from that what the engine light is on for.

if the engine lights is on due to the cai, they probably will void your warranty. if it is on and it has nothing to with the cai, they can't void it.

Try taking the positive terminal off the battery for about 20-30 minutes, this will reset the computer and the light could come off.

Disconnect the negative terminal for 10 minutes.

reseting the check engine light will not do anything if you have a problem. But if the car is running fine, reset it. If the light comes back then go to the dealer.

I have reset it and the light is still on I check the codes using the old paper clip and two codes came up code I think # 65 a secondary oxygen sensor and # 119 Coolant engine temperature circuit malfunction at least that's what I found and neither one has anything to do with the CAI because before I found out what the codes were I took the CAI off and put back the original box reset the Check engine light and it came back on. I would put the original box back on when I take it to the dealer but the thing is I don't have it anymore so I'm stocked with the CAI. 2 cents anyone?

Just go to the dealer. A CAI will not cause the O2 sensor to go or cause any problems with the coolan temp.

I have AEM CAI and have been back to dealer several times cause of shitty tranny. My warranty is still in tact.
