will these rims work?

Will these work?

18x8.5 on a comptech drop?

i wouldnt mind sitting lower but I plan on getting the Versus kit and either wilwood or rotora brake kit too (so i need to have a good offset i guess, so what is anyones reccomendations and will this size work?

On 8.5, they are recommending 235? Odd.

Well, nonetheless, 8.5 is a little bit too wide for our cars. Plus that web site doesn't even list the offset. With 8.5, you would need 55-65 offset. I don't think Giovanna come in that offset. Hardly any wheels come in that offset.

235 will fit a 8.5 w/ no problem. But it does seem kind of thin considering I've seen 235's on a 7" wheel But i've also seen them on 9" wheels

You gotta find out the offset before anyone can make claims that they'll fit. I'm gonna guess +45 which is a big no-no on an 8.5" rim, drop or no drop.

Nice looking wheels but the 8.5 come with a 35mm offset and 7.5 40mm.
