Will someone please host a Comptech exhaust clip Please. I have tried to get this done and it would be much easier if someone on the board who can easily would.

Someone please do it. I know there are many who would like to hear it. If you can please pm me or post here and we can get it done.

Thank you for your help. I have already heard those two clips and would like to hear one of more detail that a friend on the board has. We, at this time, cannot just transfer the file via. E-mail. So it is easiest for me as well as beneficial to the board for this clip to be available to everyone. I have searched the board and found only those two clips.

Clip would've been alot better but I had to let off just to get friggin traction .. all that smoke you see on the right ISN'T exhaust smoke .. lol

 

sounds beautiful, how much of a difference in sound do the headers have?

I'm not sure, because I put the exhaust on after the headers. Maybe someone else knows the answer to that question.

If you could make one from inside the car that would be great. I would like to hear how it sounds cruising at around 3000 rpm and under heavy acceleration from inside.

I noticed on both of your videos that both times you lit up the tires there was no wheel hop. Do your suspension mods control the hop? It is my understanding that the wheel hop is caused by the engine itself loading up against the motor mounts and the tires over and over again as the tires bounce off the ground. My stocker CLS6 with stock tires hops like a mofo any time I break em lose. Are you in a CLS6 with a LSD or in a CLS auto?

I never really got much wheel hop. I have a 5AT. The only wheel hop I've ever experienced was before I had any suspension. But even then I didnt have much .. I don't think I've experienced any since the springs, shocks, sways. so I guess it helped

The vid with stock exhaust they hardly spun. it was just a quick chirp .. cause it was hot out that day and all I had was an AEM intake with CT springs\tokico shocks. But the launch with CT exhaust I have the icebox and headers .. the tires just light up hardcore and smoke, I had to let off just to get some forward movement going.

 

Time to be flamed, but I think stock with aem sounds better than the other clip....um yeah okay you can all kill me now

I guess my LSD has much to do with my wheel hop. Much props on you car. I think it is everything I want to do to mine. I have got to get headers, intake, and springs.
