Thinking about making an offer on a 6 speed and was wondering if my CT headers would fit. I know that the CAI won't work. Does anyone know if the headers will fit?

 

don't you mean if a 5AT fits a 6MT????

 

Maybe, if you have the newer style headers than they are all the same. If you have the first generation or older style headers than they won't fit. You will need a new upper half for the rear to clear the rear motor mount.

 

the easiest way is to check the rear header, if it has a curve in it then it will fit

 

Yup, to be more precise, if you hold the rear manifold (the one without the label) with the openings facing away from you... there should be a slight 'kink' on the left-most exhaust tube.

 

I appreciate your comments! I am hoping that my headers are the new ones... got them last July, so unless they were old stock I am hoping that they will be OK.
