i kept bending 18s, and didn't want to keep up with repairing them. i knwo the 17 look a little funny, but its growing on me.

note: pictures were before alignment.

another side note: i feel pickup in lower end a lot better. moves way more 'freely' on the highway.

With the 17" SSR comps I had (14lbs) the car was alot easier to drive. That heavy front end feeling was gone.
They look good.

I like your brake set-up more than the wheels. Looks alright.

I felt a good difference when down grading to my 18" SSR's. But your new wheels look really good.

thanks guys, the car has a layer of pollen and i had just put the wheels on. a little wax and armor all and theyll shine nice. i always loved the look of the superleggeras. wish i coulda went 18s, but the fact that they dont make them anymore combined with rim damage steered me away.

i feel more response on turns too, dont know if i added that.

I have 17" SSR Comps on mine and I can tell you they help with acceleation, braking and the corners and there is no doubt about it.

I've always liked the Superleggera's and think they look great on your car. I didn't realize that they stopped making them.

Do you know what the difference is between the Superleggera's and the Ultraleggeras? Should I also round up some Superleggera's before they dry up or are the Ultraleggera's comparable?

i bought 5 supers from tirerack this week =]

the ultras are simply diff design, same weight, i was thinkin about getting them, but they had a polish finish with thinner spokes that go to the edge, i went with the classier look.

I run on 17's, too many potholes and too much road construction around here.
Bent my share of wheels and seen too many cars running three rims and a spare.
