Who's next car will be slower than the CL?
Just an interesting question b/c I know that whatever I get next time around it will have to be faster than the CL. I can't imagine spending a lot of money on a new car, getting in it and then being dissappointed with the performance right off the bat.
Anyone else feel they have this addiciton?

i guess i'll be the first that comes forward. I lost my CL-S becuz i couldn't afford it. Currently i drive a '91 Dodge Colt.....97 hp w/ 97 torque!! My next car, since i need speed, will hopefully be a Prelude or a Eclipse. I chose these cars due to the fact that they have major aftermarket support. It sucks having to switch to a non-luxury sports cars!!!

I am probably gonna buy a beater (you know, a Newark Airport car) and it will definitely be slower than the CL-S. As a replacement, I have no idea. My son is sniffing around the CL-S. By the time my lease is up, he will be 16!

Same here. Gonna hang onto it until it gives up the ghost and then hopefully I'll have the funds for something faster.

I've already been looking at 2 possible upgrades... M3 or S4... Still luxurious and sporty and reasonably priced, an M5 would be nice but I cant afford that!

what is the significant of keeping the car that they're not gona make anymore??? It's not like the prelude is gona be a collector item or something..i have a 2000 prelude and 2001 type-s. the prelude still hold value fairly well compare to type-s. if i had to trade one of the car i think it would be the prelude..

I definitely have this addiction. And like Mike said, I'm just as addicted to the luxury/comfort. I've considered trying to break myself of this habit, but I know if I get rid of this car and get something slower and less luxurious that will last all of about 6 mos before I trade up and lose even more money
This sucks.....
This sucks.....

Absolutely not... my next car will be a beast after this one. By then I should be able to swing an "M" BMW or AMG Mercedes. Nothing less then that (hopefully). Worst case scenerio I'll get a new TL or RL down the road... who knows how much HP they'll be putting out.....

The navi has spoiled me. There's lots of nice cars out there I would consider buying. But if they don't have navi, they're off the list. And no, its not just a toy. I use it for business and it makes my life so much easier. Giving it up would be like giving up my cell phone. Of course I haven't driven it yet, but if the RSX-S had navi, I would really be interested in it. I love the CL-S, but I do miss my old Integra's manual transmission, hatchback (great cargo capacity), and tighter handling. But the CL-S does have torque which is a big plus.

I'll just have to see what's available by that time, maybe the Skyline will be brought over and I'd like to check out the RX8 in person.

I'd agree on the M and AMG, but the more I see it, the more I'm taken by the SC430. Looks sweet in silver (only color I've seen around here).
Or, then again, the market could stay where it has for the last year and I'll be in the market for Kia's latest and greatest...

Exactly the reason why I cannot afford any new car...
Probably a small house in the fog...I like it there..I grew up there...
Or I was thinking of moving to the ghetto and wait until they move out everyone and the property value goes up....there's only so much land in SF...eventually, there will be no ghettos.
