Who is interested in Getting their Mudflaps Painted.

How many people would be interested in sending their mudflaps out to get painted? I have a friend of mine who has painted cars at a Cadillac and Hummer Dealership for six years. Now he does amazing custom work. He said if he had enough people who wanted their mudflaps painted he would do some type of Groupbuy where people would send their mudflaps out to us in DC and we would send you back a set painted in any color you would like. If it isn't an Acura color then just supply us with the paint code. Please respond to the following questions to give me an idea of what to expect. Thank You-

1) Please reply if you are interested.

2) What is the most you would be willing to pay?

If you have questions please feel free to ask.

I have had 2 sets painted locally. They were about $110 with tax.

Do they use a special paint which would prevent me from painting them myself ....Assuming I have a spray gun?

It sounds like a good thing to me, Im just not sure whats involved in doing it

He will match the color perfectly with the real paint that is on the rest of your car and put coats of clear. You would need to buy the paint, a paint gun and a comprssor which would cost at least $500. He can also do bumpers or ground effect kits. But I figure that the mudflaps would be more realistic because of shipping. If there aren't enough people who want to do it then it probably won't happen. Just an idea. Let me know.
Thanks-

I'm interested, but I've seen too may of those with chipping and peeling to be convinced your friend will do anything different to prevent that from happening. It would look sweet though. How much if it goes through?

He will paint it with high quality paint and put a few coats of clear.
I am going to have him paint mine and then let you know how they look I will also post the pics. As for the price it will 100 or less. We just need enough people who would want to do it. I just hate the way the black one's look on my silver car.
Thanks for your interest-
