Yeah, look in front of the shifter between the heated seat buttons. the little 'tray' on the bottom, reach your hand in there and you'll feel that there is a lip, just give it a pull and the tab will pop out. Plug is behind that.
yea in the lil tray section under the coin tray. it's L shaped... just grab that piece at the top and pull towards u and it unclips in a second.
I found it one day in my car while looking for a loonie that fell out of the coin tray behind it... FUCKED situation... now my car is worth 1 extra dollar@!

mine is an 03 auto tl, and it is under the dash as mentioned
i think from 03 and on or so, the government started cracking down on the placement of the OBDII ports, cause it is suppose to be standardrized for ALL cars, so the reason for the change of location

you do kinda learn where they are over the years, but yeah when you see a different car, it is like "where the f*** is it???"
like on a volvo
a couple of weeks ago, it was in the armrest storage compartment, so you had to open the armrest to even see the plug, let alone it had a little cover over it also

on my cl tho... with it being in the lower tray area.. you'd never think of ripping off that lil plastic piece thinking it was there... at least i wouldn't. I ran into mine by accident looking for a loonie. HAH
hahah, well actually it got caught between pull-down coin tray at the back and w/e is on top, cause when i went to close the coin tray it was 1/4 inch from closing properly... so i went on an excursion to move it, and in doing so the loonie has now become one with the CL
They moved it there on the 03's prior to that they all had it under the coin tray
