I have a 2001 CL-S and I will like to get the Acura Logo that is in the center of the steering wheel. Look at this pic:

Don't you think it means the actually piece on the steering wheel?

 

I heard there was no way of actually "buying one" but you had to switch out the air bags w/ the 03 and 02 or steering wheels...

 

I wanted to just install it in my steering wheel...no one has done that before?

 

The 03s had an emblem on the steering wheel, but its attatched to the airbag and a new airbag is $500 probably. Most have just made emblems out of vinyl, which it looks like that person did or stick on an emblem to the wheel, but some think it may fly off if the bags ever deploy

 

I would want to stick it on mine as well if you get any info on it.There's gotta be someone who makes these emblems.It is just glued on the centre..Simple!!

 

Read what I said above. No one knows for sure if it will stay if the airbag ever deploys. It may stay ot it may be shot at your head at 200 mph.
Sure its simple, but some don't feel like taking a risk

 

Don't ever screw with anything that throws things at your melon faster than you car can go....

 

The center cap gets a bad glare off of it when the sunroof is open. You could probably go to a junkyard and get one, but it probably isn't worth messing with the airbags to add something.

 

Airbags deploy at less than 1/200th of a second at a rate of 1200psi in less than most consumer cameras have the capability in shutter speed.

I've been in an accident where airbags deployed, that crap is scary and thinking of adding a projectile to that awesome power makes me

 

I've had to either close the moonroof or put my hand on the emblem more than a couple times. I do drive with the moonroff/windows down 90% of the time when its warm out though.
