Where is cabin air filter is it behind the glove box like to TL?

I want to change the cabin air filter with my tranny fluid this weekend, is the filter behind the glove box like the 2nd gen TL?
anyone have a DIY guide on how to change it?
Thanks!

Yeah, it's behind the glovebox. If the filters havent been changed before you'll have to cut the tabs with a knife and turn the cover sideways when re-installing. If they've been changed already, the cover will already be sideways.

Autozone sells them by the pair, and I believe it was only like 12 bucks. Bosch brand.

You can buy them by the box (Bosch, Includes 2 filters) at any Auto Parts Store...Kragen, Pep Boys, etc.

My suggestion is to buy the ones online or eBay that are charcoal filtered because they filter odor.

If you are going to change them...might as well put the better filters in.

You can find them for just a couple of bucks more....I did.

ding ding ding!! Yup i highly recommend the charcoal filters. After doing a/c recharges and cabin filter replacement at my old job at jiffy lube I can say the charcoal ones are much better and you'd be surprised the difference once you change out the dirty cabins.

Pollen filters are supposed to be done every 30K miles:

http://john-perry.com/acurazine/docu...aintenance.pdf

I've done mine twice, and will be doing them again at 90K. I'll have to check out the carbon filters...

Where is everyone getting their carbon filters ??
