everyone wants to know what kind of numbers these things put down at the wheels, and all of you guys are past the break in period for the most part...lets see some #s!!!!!!! we should take bets and see who is closest to the right hp and Tq numbers!

I thought for sure one of the “motorheads” would have beaten me to this.
I would volunteer to do it, but a couple of reasons are keeping me from jumping to the front of the line.
I only have 1,000-miles. I think you need more…no?
I have 18” Blingers on and they will lower the numbers somewhat…no?
Finally, I now have my CAI installed so we wouldn’t get a true “before” number from the test.
Let me know if my concerns are valid.
OH….My guess:
225-HP
205-TQ

Your car will most likely dyno less with 1,000 miles than if you had 5,000 or 10,000 miles. The big 18's will definitely lower your torque readings and thus your HP as well.
Finally you could always swap your stock air box back in for the dyno. It would be for a good cause.

I do have my 16” snow tires on 2000 TL rims, but I don’t know if that would be any better.
Sorry.....The CAI just went on Saturday, and it AIN’T coming off.

I'm sure another CL'er in your vicinity would be happy to let you borrow his stocker wheels for a few minutes for the good of the board.
That member could then technically claim he had XXX hp at the wheels, since they WERE his wheels on the dyno rollers. Heh heh heh...

My new RIMS w/tires weigh EXACTLY the same as the 2003 ones...48 pounds.
This may not be an accurate number, but both were weighed on the same scale and were 48 pounds.

More important than the weight of the rims and tire is the distribution of the weight from the rotation point. If you have some thin rubber band low profile tires a large portion of your weight is located at the very outmost edge of the wheel.
I actually dropped 4lbs per wheel with my CP-035's and STILL dyno'd less on a DynoJet (inertia based) dyno.
